About This Event
Our planet is at a crossroads, and the challenge before us is nothing short of monumental. Climate change—an issue that transcends borders, cultures, and generations—is the defining crisis of our time. The TEDxUniversityofCapeCoast 2024 Countdown event, themed One Planet, One Future, is inspired by the urgent need for collective efforts and decisive actions in the fight against climate change.
This conference is not just another gathering; it's a rallying cry for every individual who calls this planet home. We aim to provide a dynamic platform where innovative solutions, groundbreaking ideas, and compelling stories from the University of Cape Coast and Ghana at large take center stage.
As we countdown to a net-zero future, the focus is clear: clean and renewable energy, agriculture, sustainable recycling, and actionable steps to curb emissions.
But this isn't just about saving the environment—it's about saving humanity. Our survival hinges on our ability to protect the one planet that sustains all life. And with the clock ticking, the urgency has never been greater.
We are igniting a movement that will inspire change, foster collaboration, and, most importantly, compel us all to take action. Because to save our planet is to save ourselves—and the time to act is now!
