Overview of Our 2026 Events

In 2026, we are exploring events that seek to empower and invest in youth development, entrepreneurship, career advancement, physical fitness, cultural celebration, circular economy awareness, health education, and international relations.

TEDxUniversityofCapeCoast will roll out a series of high-impact activities alongside its main conference in May and its second TEDx Education event in September. The 2026 edition, themed "Kintsugi: The Beauty in Imperfections," reflects renewal and resilience—values aligned with sustainability, wellbeing, and community impact.

Three-Day May Conference

Day 1

Forum on International Relations

Gathering ministers, policymakers, and business leaders for Education and Economic Development.

Day 2

Main TEDx Conference

Talks on innovation, leadership, circular economy practices, health systems, and employability at the SMS Auditorium (10:00 AM - 3:00 PM).

Day 3

Creative Arts & Cultural Experience

An evening of music, dance, and performance at Sam Jonah Library Forecourt (5 PM - 10 PM) with WatsUp TV.

Industrial Educational Tour

A hands-on learning trip exposing students to leading industries, production facilities, and corporate environments to bridge academic learning with real-world experience.

Creative Arts and Cultural Experience

An evening celebration of music, dance, and performance arts that showcases Ghanaian creativity and promotes cultural storytelling.

Public Education on Children Malnutrition

A community health outreach focused on childhood nutrition, awareness creation, and practical solutions to reduce malnutrition in underserved areas.

Central Regional Students' Innovation & Leadership Summit

A regional platform equipping students with leadership skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and innovative problem-solving tools for community impact.

Students Marathon and Cycling

A municipal-wide health and fitness event promoting endurance, wellness, and community bonding through competitive running and cycling.

Career and Skills Week Celebration

A three-day experience connecting students with employers through virtual sessions, exhibitions, mentorship, and networking opportunities for career development.

TEDx Education Conference

A culture-inspired education-focused TEDx event held during the Oguaa Fetu Afahye to explore ideas shaping learning, identity, and community development.
